TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RETURNS
It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. All items are
inspected for obvious faults/damage before dispatch. If you should find a fault
with the product you must advise us immediately and in writing. This can be by
fax or by e-mail, but to be considered for any refund or replacement such
written advise must be received by us within 7 days of you receiving the goods.
Goods damaged in transit must be so noted on the couriers delivery form, if the
items are accepted then there is no recourse if these item/s are later found to
be damaged. Goods must be returned for any refund if the item(s) are damaged in
transit or at any time prior to being received by you. All returns shall be
packaged together with original packaging. No freight costs will be reimbursed
unless the supply is as a result of an error on our part. Any refund will be
made to the original credit card to which the order was charged or by cheque to
the customer.
SECURITY AND PAYMENTS
As everyone needs to exercise due care when dealing with financial transactions
,we utilize technology to encrypt your credit card details. Essentially this
means your credit card details are unreadable as they pass from your computer to
our processors. We then decrypt your message at our end. All prices quoted are
in NZ$.
SHIPPING AND INSURANCE
Within New Zealand we will arrange courier delivery, you will be invoiced the
freight charges together with your purchase once the courier amount is known due
to the variable nature of orders. For International orders there will be a
freight fee and handling fee incurred. This amount will be charged to your
credit card and confirmed in the confirmation email you will receive after
placing your order. No freight costs will be reimbursed. Delivery within New
Zealand will require a signature for safe receipt of the goods. International
orders will be sent using door to door delivery. In all cases, a signature is
required on receipt of the delivery. Any apparent damage upon delivery must be
noted on the consignment note. Failure to note such damage will render any claim
against the supplier or the carrier void Deliveries will be made ex Christchurch
or Auckland during any working days Monday to Friday inclusive. If an item is
out of stock we will contact you before any amount is deducted from your credit
card, allowing you to make a different purchase, if you so wish. Should we
discover an item is out of stock after your card has been debited, we will
arrange to credit your credit card. The Glass Rooms have insurance cover for all
items sent by courier from the time it leaves our care until the order is
received and signed for. Any international order placed under! the value of
$800.00 will be sent by post at your own risk as this will not be covered by our
insurance.
PRIVACY
The Glass Rooms respect your privacy and will treat your information as
confidential. We will not supply information to any other companies. The only
exceptions to the above will be when it is deemed necessary to supply the
information to a third party who is acting as an agent for The Glass Rooms and
the information given is considered a requirement for them to carry out their
service, i.e. Couriers, banks etc. The only other time information will be
supplied is if we are requested to provide the information for any
government-based agency.
Be assured that your details will be kept secure and no other party will
harass you for business as a result of obtaining your details directly from us.
