A strong styled/coloured kitchen deserves an equally strong contrast.

This is quite a classic approach, personally I feel it has japanese influences happening which has been intensified by using a RESENE Wasabi Green Splashback.

I also wanted to keep the colours seperated so that everything appeared slightly bigger, so I kept a border of white wall around both verical edges and the top as well.

The balance was good and it gave this modest Christchurch home a sophisticated feel.
